Description

– Allows for making solid, break-resistant connections of the aluminium starter strip with structural plaster surface

– The bead is additionally provided with a drip draining water from the lower edge of the façade

– BP1S bead eliminates the effect of plaster falling off from the starter strip on the strip-plaster connection

Assembly: BP1S PVC dripnose starter beads with mesh should be installed on aluminium starter strips in the insulation façade. The installation of the BP1S bead is done by mechanical slipping it from the top onto the vertical edge of the starter strip. Then, in a single gluing operation, cover the fibreglass mesh mounted on the BP1S bead with the façade fibreglass mesh. The BP1S bead has a bottom edge adapted for zinc plating and keeping (closing) the plaster without the risk of spatter on the lower edge of the plaster.
